This one day course is structured to satisfy the educational requirements of the NRC and
Agreement States in which we offer classes.  It also satisfies 49 CFR 172 Subpart H (US DOT
HAZMAT Transportation Training).  The course covers basic radiation physics, safety principles,
ALARA, and how to safely operate, transport and store a portable nuclear gauge.  Students must
pass an examination at the end of the class in order to be certified.
